# What is Immortal Creed?

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Immortal Creed is a digital trading card game set in a fantasy themed world built with blockchain technology. This allows you, the player, to earn, own and trade your game characters, weapons, equipment and currencies.

In Immortal Creed you will battle other players and non player characters in your quest to spread your creed across the varied lands of Alara. You earn rewards from combat, quests and achievements designed to test your strategy and skills.

# For VALOR!

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

The main currency in Alara is VALOR, earned through victory in combat. VALOR can be used to buy card packs and in the future other assets in the game. VALOR and other in-game currencies, along with cards and card packs, can be transferred to and from a blockchain wallet owned by the player. This allows full control of game assets giving you the ability to collect and trade with decentralized verifiable ownership.

Immortal Creed allows transferring card packs and game currencies like VALOR between your in-game account and a HIVE or POLYGON blockchain wallet, and unique game card NFTs between your in-game account and a HIVE blockchain wallet, with similar card NFT functionality coming for POLYGON.

*Immortals are the elite of the warrior caste. Chosen through tribunals of fierce combat to represent their creed, only the victorious may claim glory.*

# Modifiers

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Each Immortal has a unique way to affect a battle in the form of modifiers and abilities.

An Immortal card modifier acts as a buff affecting your own Equipment cards played or a debuff affecting your opponent's cards.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/ikyrIswESCb6URz5RuAQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Common Immortal card modifiers include:

* +% Damage amount with one or more damage types
* +% Hit Chance with one or more damage types
* % Defense to Melee and Ranged damage
* % Resistance to Magic or Poison damage
* Cards trigger faster

# Abilities

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Some Immortals have an ability that triggers during a battle, usually once each round.

<figure><img src="/files/nITsy1LLF4Wbfew6TQkH" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

A once per round ability will trigger on the last turn of the round.

# Races

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Different races inhabit the world of Alara. You may encounter many creatures throughout your journey, but only those listed below are playable as Immortals.

* [Thrall](/cards/immortals/races/thrall)
* [Deepsmiths](/cards/immortals/races/deepsmiths)
* [Crathian](/cards/immortals/races/crathian)
* [Crommen](/cards/immortals/races/crommen)
* [Thratan](/cards/immortals/races/thratan)
* [Kayan](/cards/immortals/races/kayan)

You can read background information about each Immortal race, or skip to [Equipment](/cards/equipment) to learn more about Equipment cards.

# Thrall

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Thrall were created by the Circle of Rune. Once a wild foraging and nomadic race they were hunted and captured to serve the Circle’s plans. Through manipulation of essence they were twisted into a race of almost mindless obedient servants.

<figure><img src="/files/q6prH2kb8YXUrF5fanse" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

They are a brutal society and value strength, courage and honor in combat at which they excel. Their culture is so savage that even the young and uninitiated in combat wear the scars and markings of battle hardened warriors. Thrall care little about saving the world and the balance of nature as their history is filled with hardship. They fight to prove they are more than a mere abomination or scourge and are deserving of being a recognized race.

# Deepsmiths

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Deepsmiths are forgers, harnessing the heat of the world's molten core to craft items of purity and strength. By combining endurite and niobium crystals under extreme heat the molecular structures fuse seamlessly like pieces of a puzzle. This perfect fit gives their creations amazing strength and durability. Metals created in this fashion have a slight translucent look, with the shine of polished pure endurite and the blue translucence of niobium giving an almost electric blue glow to the items forged.

<figure><img src="/files/aO4EXudglDGvzoJptPuZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Their understanding of physical properties also allows Deepsmiths to create objects of complex mechanical design. As their forges require immense heat they prefer to dwell near volcanic regions to access the molten core of the world. The Deepsmiths see themselves as the only race that has a true understanding of the three forces and only they can restore and rebalance the shattered world.

# Crathian

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

The spiritual tribes of the Crathian revere the land and its perfect balance as the true divine spirit. The Great War all but destroyed their deity's power and influence. Broken but not defeated they took up arms to fight any who would harm the world and disrupt its balance.

There are many tribal factions of Crathian living scattered across Alara. Seen as the most humane and civil creatures they are accepted in Crommen cities but not seen as equals. Most Crathian don't think very highly of Crommen either, but respect their place in the natural balance of things.

<figure><img src="/files/MTZ2FSS2CYWEm3OOLq2J" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Standing tall and formidable, covered in a thick furred hide, they resemble bears with the dexterity and agility of a Crommen. Capable of wielding any weapons they make for skilled warriors and excel in ranged and melee combat.

# Crommen

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Crommen are as versatile with sword and shield as they are with the arcane, and are known for building great cities of stone, wood and steel. The two largest Crommen cities of Saryn and Vel Noem have existed in conflict for generations.

<figure><img src="/files/W1GbKvqOhrVxhwfhaDEp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Crommen see no need to alter the course of the world. There are natural cycles of balance and unbalance, the world will right itself without any help from its inhabitants. Those that think themselves godly enough to be its saviors are delusional and arrogant fools.

# Thratan

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Thratan inhabit the wilds of Alara. Living in small packs they scavenge the land for whatever useful items they can find, often bartering their findings for needed wares. Nomadic by nature Thratan roam endlessly.

<figure><img src="/files/GzyLJl1imCsQO6bJF4g7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Thratan Immortals were either captured or bartered by their packs as children to the legion armies. They are trained to serve as hulking war machines within the legion ranks. Towering beasts, they possess the strength of several men and are ruthless in combat. Known to sometimes snack on their enemies during battle, a hungry Thratan in the wild is best avoided.

# Kayan

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Kayan are reptilian hunters with tough, lizard-like skin. This rugged skin provides them with natural protection in their harsh, swampy habitats. One of the most distinctive features of the Kayan is their clawed hands and feet, which make them excellent climbers. Their hands have a combination of sharp talons for hunting and more dexterous fingers for handling tools and weapons.

<figure><img src="/files/sl6GGJglw4FmhPF9Yg2L" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Kayan are a tribal society organized into extended family groups that inhabit settlements perched high in the dense Barack trees of the swamps. These tree-dwelling communities provide both protection from ground-dwelling predators and a vantage point for hunting and surveillance. They have a profound connection with the natural world of the swamps, using their natural resistance to poisons to harvest rare and dangerous flora and fauna for trade with other Alarian races.

Within Kayan society, there exists a revered warrior caste known as the "Sa-Ut." The Sa-Ut, besides being skilled hunters, serve as protectors of their clans. They are trained in both the art of wielding traditional weapons and mastering essence magic. The Sa-Ut are the only Kayan who wear armor. This armor, adorned with tribal markings and sigils, signifies their role as defenders of their clans and provides them with added protection in battle.

# Equipment

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Equipment cards represent your weapons and other items used for battle. Each Equipment card shows the number of Turn <img src="/files/zKULNic4IHPt2Y7Nhk2g" alt="" data-size="original"> slots it uses, the card's Speed ![](/files/RXS3F37vt07eEStW4Npd) (the second it triggers during a turn), any damage dealt ![](/files/3UMpOzyjFIhWOJSIcj96)![](/files/R6in0CRZ8bFgSn3OUdfa)![](/files/5RVbyWMFiOAWBsHSOvb4), any defense given ![](/files/1bQB6G7qXSt8izasIs5n) and any modifiers or abilities.

<figure><img src="/files/AnETJiB5fDBNXehJAzf2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Equipment card's [Rarity](/cards/card-rarity) and [Level](/cards/card-level) are displayed with a banner at the top left of the card.

See [Turns](/gameplay/how-to-play/turns), [Speed](/gameplay/how-to-play/speed) and [Damage Types](/gameplay/damage-types) for more details about these game topics.

*It was Char’s Hammer that felled Dar’gon’s stone walls. For days attempts to breach the fortress had failed. Battering rams of the thickest trees splintered and cracked one by one against its walls. Warriors toiled with chisel and mallet until exhausted only to merely scratch the surface, until Char with his mighty war hammer approached. With one great stroke and a deafening roar Dar’gon’s stones cracked from a thunderous blow that shook both the heavens and ground alike.*

# Modifiers

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Instead of or in addition to dealing damage, some Equipment cards can affect the battle with modifiers and abilities.

<figure><img src="/files/DgixqZujr0oFdzqGR5Yr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

An Equipment card modifier can be categorized as Immediate or Stacking.

* Immediate\
Immediate modifiers only affect the current turn the card is triggered.
* Stacking\
Stacking modifiers will add a permanent buff or debuff lasting the rest of the battle and can be compounded each time the card ability is triggered. For example, Trueshot Ring will increase your Immortal's Ranged Hit Chance for all future Equipment cards played by an additional 8% every time this card triggers.

If a weapon type Equipment card that deals damage has a modifier, the modifier is only triggered on a successful hit with the weapon dealing at least 1 damage. Non-weapon Equipment cards that do not deal damage will always trigger their modifier.

# Abilities

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Equipment cards can also trigger unique abilities affecting you or your opponent.

Some examples of Equipment card abilities are [Heal](/gameplay/counters/healing) and [Stun](/gameplay/counters/stun).

<figure><img src="/files/VayV1VgFpIQ4j8uU7aru" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If a weapon type Equipment card that deals damage has an ability, the ability is only triggered on a successful hit with the weapon dealing at least 1 damage. Non-weapon Equipment cards that do not deal damage will always trigger their ability.

# Card Level

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Both Immortal and Equipment cards have a card level designating the strength of the card. A card's level is displayed with a number on the banner at the top left of the card.

<figure><img src="/files/xyh3e1dBWHkpA7j1SH5J" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Cards start at Level 1 and can be combined to increase to a maximum of Level 10. Each level increase raises the stats for the card, and can introduce new modifiers and abilities.

# Card Rarity

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

A card's rarity defines how unique and powerful it is, and is displayed as a colored banner at the top left of the card. Non-gold foil cards are also rimmed with the card's rarity color.

Immortal Creed cards come in 4 rarities:

* ![](/files/fNFYNPcXvrUqnKjuDZNY) Common
* ![](/files/qe5z3uEb93nvasicMQqx) Rare
* ![](/files/FpA2wrgARqeriuI1LswB) Epic
* ![](/files/1xTVfaY9tGbk9qZQ3JlX) Legendary

A card with a gray banner ![](/files/XrDyBmK13MPvYf9p5D7l) is from your starting set and does not contribute to battle rewards earned.

# Card Power

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

A card's Card Power represents its total strength defined by damage dealt, modifiers and abilities. All else being equal, cards with similar Card Power will be of matching strength.

Card Power is shown in the card details view accessed from your Inventory.

<figure><img src="/files/0RhSWa9WJYryi7IkpvBT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Gold Foil Cards

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

2% of all cards have a Gold foil instead of the regular foil, granting them the ability to earn more VALOR in combat and starting at level 2.

<figure><img src="/files/Vc6KXnLrc3tGgL3Tny57" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Gold foil cards earn 50% more VALOR for a match win compared to the equivalent regular foil card.

*Oh! Shiny! Mine, all mine!*

# Combining Cards

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Once you have multiple copies of an Immortal or Equipment card you can combine them in the Forge <img src="/files/EBInAyyo8TRjVtiTZBZg" alt="" data-size="line"> to create a higher level card. Combining cards also requires CREED for Immortal cards or CRAFT for Equipment cards. Higher level cards have increased stats and additional modifiers and abilities. All cards and CREED or CRAFT tokens used are destroyed in the act of creating the new card.

The level of a card is displayed on the colored banner in the top left corner of the card graphic. Cards start at Level 1 for standard foil cards and Level 2 for Gold foil cards. All cards can be combined up to the maximum of Level 10, shown as a star ![](/files/9bPTHWeJ2rfyGfjN5QvN) over the rarity banner.

<figure><img src="/files/hTOCiOcDjabqxCX0TIrf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The cost to create a higher level card from a set of lower level cards is based on the card's rarity and foil type. Higher rarity cards and gold foil cards require fewer to combine. The table below shows the cost in Level 1 cards needed to create a higher level version of the card.

**Regular Foil Card Combining Cost by Level and Rarity**

| Card Level | Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary |
| :--------: | :----: | :--: | :--: | :-------: |
| 2 | 4 | 2 | 2 | 2 |
| 3 | 8 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
| 4 | 12 | 9 | 8 | 8 |
| 5 | 20 | 14 | 12 | 12 |
| 6 | 32 | 22 | 18 | 17 |
| 7 | 52 | 35 | 28 | 24 |
| 8 | 84 | 54 | 43 | 33 |
| 9 | 136 | 84 | 65 | 45 |
| 10 | 220 | 132 | 100 | 60 |

Gold foil cards start at Level 2, and can only be combined with other Gold cards. Below are the number of Level 2 Gold foil cards needed to combine to make a higher level Gold card.

**Gold Foil Card Combining Cost by Level and Rarity**

| Card Level | Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary |
| :--------: | :----: | :--: | :--: | :-------: |
| 3 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 |
| 4 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| 5 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
| 6 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
| 7 | 6 | 6 | 6 | 6 |
| 8 | 8 | 7 | 7 | 7 |
| 9 | 14 | 9 | 8 | 8 |
| 10 | 22 | 13 | 10 | 9 |

The set of cards used to combine into a higher level card can be of any level, but must all have the same foil type. A card created by combining other cards retains the combined value of all lower level cards used. This is known as the card's Combined Card Count (CCC). The total Combined Card Count value of the cards used determines the level of the created card. Any excess over the initial cost to reach a certain level is retained with the card, stored in its Combined Card Count.

In addition to the cards used for combining, CREED or CRAFT is required to create a new card (CREED for Immortals, CRAFT for Equipment). The cost in CREED or CRAFT is based on the level increase needed to get from the highest level card you're combining to the newly created card (see below). The rarity and foil of the card does not affect the number of CREED or CRAFT needed.

**CREED/CRAFT Cost by Level Increase**

| Starting Card Level | New Card Level | CREED/CRAFT Cost |
| :-----------------: | :------------: | :--------------: |
| 1 | 2 | 1 |
| 2 | 3 | 1 |
| 3 | 4 | 2 |
| 4 | 5 | 2 |
| 5 | 6 | 3 |
| 6 | 7 | 3 |
| 7 | 8 | 4 |
| 8 | 9 | 4 |
| 9 | 10 | 5 |

The cost in CREED or CRAFT by Level increase is cumulative, so if you are increasing by multiple levels at once, add the costs of all Level increases to get the total cost to create the new card.

**Example 1**

3 standard foil Rare Level 1 Warcaller Immortal cards are combined in the forge. This produces a single Level 2 Warcaller Immortal card with a Combined Card Count of 3 and requires 1 CREED.

**Example 2**

A standard foil Common Level 5 Iron Dagger Equipment card with a Combined Card Count of 25 is combined with 60 Level 1 Iron Dagger cards. This will create a Level 8 Iron Dagger card with a Combined Card Count of 85 and requires 10 CRAFT (Level 5 to 6 costs 3 CRAFT, 6 to 7 costs 3 CRAFT, 7 to 8 costs 4 CRAFT = 10 CRAFT total).

# Matches

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

After both players have selected an Immortal and set of Equipment cards, the match will be resolved automatically and shown to both players.

A match consists of multiple [Rounds](/gameplay/how-to-play/rounds), with each round lasting multiple [Turns](/gameplay/how-to-play/turns)![](/files/zKULNic4IHPt2Y7Nhk2g). A single match can be set to 3, 4, 5, or an even greater number of turns.

The match continues until one or both combatants reach a Health of 0 or lower or a predefined maximum number of rounds is reached, which will result in a tie.

Matches have a maximum card level, with only Immortal and Equipment cards of that level or below allowed. Immortal and Equipment cards that are of a higher level than the maximum for the match's rank will have their level shifted down to the maximum card level.

# Rounds

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

A round lasts a set number of [Turns](/gameplay/how-to-play/turns)![](/files/zKULNic4IHPt2Y7Nhk2g), with each turn representing the turn of a card.

Each round both players' chosen Equipment cards are turned over and played in the order selected. Once all cards have been played a new round begins starting over at the first Equipment card from the selected set.

# Turns

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Each Turn![](/files/zKULNic4IHPt2Y7Nhk2g) in a battle consists of both players turning over and triggering their next Equipment card. When a multi-turn card is played, the card damage or effect will trigger when the number of turns on the card have passed.

Each turn lasts 10 seconds, with a card's Speed ![](/files/RXS3F37vt07eEStW4Npd) designating when during the turn the card will trigger.

<figure><img src="/files/CIduTpbhsR89xHeFWtlf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Speed

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

A card's Speed ![](/files/RXS3F37vt07eEStW4Npd) designates when during a turn the card's damage or effect will trigger. This provides an order of operations within a turn to determine, for example, if a counter is fast enough to affect the current incoming attack. A lower Speed represents a faster card, with a Speed of 1 being the fastest and 9 being the slowest.

The Speed value represents the second within a round when the card triggers. Each turn is made of 10 seconds. All Equipment cards trigger on seconds 1 through 9, with second 10 being used for end of turn effects like poison damage.

Two cards can trigger at the same time if they have the same Speed.

If a faster card deals a killing blow the dead Immortal's card does not trigger. Although the Speed difference between your card and your opponent's card doesn't affect the outcome of every turn, a close match can sometimes come down to who can deal the quicker final blow.

A weapon type Equipment card with damage can have a chance to miss, negating all damage for the attack. An Immortal's Hit Chance with each damage type is shown below the Immortal in the combat view.

<figure><img src="/files/ttZPsk044xbvmSLgfFnS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each damage type has a base Hit Chance which can be increased or lowered by Immortal and Equipment card modifiers. If a modifier would increase hit chance over 100% the excess is instead added to % damage dealt with that damage type.

When a card with a hit chance triggers in combat, a hit roll of 1-100 is made. This roll must be equal to or less than the current hit chance % for the card's primary damage type. If the roll is higher than the hit chance % number, the attack misses.

# Damage Types

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Choose your own RNG!

Immortal Creed allows you to choose how much chance or consistency you want when playing. Each Equipment card damage type is designed around a different level of randomness in outcomes.

# Melee Damage

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Melee damage ![](/files/3UMpOzyjFIhWOJSIcj96) is usually a single damage amount, with an 80% chance to hit your opponent. This provides a balance of skill, card power and chance.

In most cases Immortal and Equipment card Melee modifiers will increase damage amount.

# Ranged Damage

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Ranged damage ![](/files/R6in0CRZ8bFgSn3OUdfa) from a card provides a range of outcomes, with each use dealing an amount of damage randomly rolled between a low and high value. Ranged damage has a base 80% chance to hit your opponent.

Ranged damage is the least consistent damage type, but with luck can do more damage than other cards of the same Card Power.

Most Immortal and Equipment card Ranged modifiers will increase hit chance.

# Magic Damage

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Magic damage ![](/files/5RVbyWMFiOAWBsHSOvb4) is generally a single damage amount, with a 100% chance to hit.

Magic damage provides the most consistent play style. Duels between magic users can completely eliminate any chance from a battle, with the victor being determined solely by skill and card power.

Most Immortal and Equipment card Magic modifiers will increase damage amount.

# Poison Damage

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Poison damage can affect an Immortal through card abilities and match location properties.

When an Immortal is poisoned, a poison amount deals damage to the Immortal at the end of every turn. After dealing damage the poison amount is reduced by half (rounded down) until it reaches 0 and is removed.

# Counters

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Not all Equipment cards are damage dealing weapons. Some cards can be used to counter your opponent's attack.

<figure><img src="/files/6Wdt7jiUzYSCNoEnBbuK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Shields

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

When a shield is triggered, a defense amount ![](/files/1bQB6G7qXSt8izasIs5n) is stacked for use against the next successful incoming attack from your opponent. This defense can block damage during the same turn if triggered as fast or faster than your opponent's weapon. If a shield triggers after your opponent's card played this turn, the defense amount will be saved and used against the next successful incoming attack.

Standard shields block physical damage and aren't as effective against Magic attacks. The defense amount is subtracted in full from incoming Melee and Ranged damage. Only half of a regular shield's defense amount applies to incoming Magic damage (rounded down).

If a shield triggers while a previous saved defense amount exists, the previous amount is lost.

# Magic Reflection

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Some rare shields have the ability to reflect incoming Magic damage back to your opponent.

<figure><img src="/files/2u9GO2Eattchsn1HOk9z" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If a shield's defense amount includes the <img src="/files/7BaUZ43uMJSqaiQl0aBg" alt="" data-size="line"> symbol, the shield will reflect the full defense value of Magic damage from an attack. For incoming Melee and Ranged attacks that trigger a shield with Magic Reflection, the damage blocked is the same as a standard shield.

*Niobium enhanced shields have been known to reflect magic away from defenders.*

# Stun

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

A card can have a chance to Stun your opponent.

<figure><img src="/files/tmU1JuaIlvT9smZwE0D6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If an Immortal is Stunned, the next Equipment card it would play is negated. After a single Equipment card is negated, the Immortal recovers from the Stun effect.

When a card with a Stun effect triggers before your opponent's card in the same turn, the immediate opposing card is negated. If a Stun effect triggers at the same time or after your opponent's card triggers, the card played on the following turn is negated.

*The perfect time to attack is when the enemy can not.*

# Healing

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Some items can increase Health when used, but Health can never increase past an Immortal's starting amount.

# Ranks

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

All players have a PvP Rank and Rank Level representing their progress in the game. Players start at the Novice rank with a Rank Level of 1. Rank Level is increased by winning ranked matches (see [Rank Progression](/gameplay/rank-progression)). Once a player completes Rank Level 10 they will move to the next Rank, allowing for greater honor and rewards, or you can skip to the next Rank without completing all 10 Rank Levels if own enough higher level cards (see [Rank Advancement](/gameplay/rank-advancement)).

Matches in each rank have a maximum card level that can be played. If you own a card that is of a higher level than the maximum, you can use the card shifted down to the maximum card level of the match.

The Immortal Creed PvP ranks are:

| Rank | Maximum Card Level | Match Round Length |

# Rank Progression

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Each Rank is composed of 10 Rank Levels. Your progression through a Rank is displayed on the Play screen.

<figure><img src="/files/urg10dF1uSvBkrfkV0Zb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To complete a Rank Level and proceed to the next, you must obtain 3 Win Badges <img src="/files/ROyKz5lyLtfN5c32CDUB" alt="" data-size="line">, each composed of 3 parts: the hilt, the blade, and the wings.

<figure><img src="/files/tafTMyXucrnVK2GwHes9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

A single win provides one Win Badge part, unless you are on a win streak of 3 or higher. When you are on a win streak, every win earns you the next full Win Badge, without having to collect each part of the badge separately. And a win streak of 6 or higher will complete the next 2 full Win Badges! This accelerated progression for a win streak does not apply at Rank Level 10, where you will always only earn 1 Win Badge part for a win.

<figure><img src="/files/54vcwWxbgKJmCBNFgIhW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Losing a match after a previous win will result in the loss of a single Win Badge part. Losing a match after a previous loss or tie will result in the loss of 2 Win Badge parts, unless the second part loss would come from the previous Win Badge, when you would only lose one part for the loss (i.e. you will never drop below an empty Win Badge from a loss if you only have the hilt to lose). You will also never lose more than 1 Win Badge part for a loss when you are at Rank Levels 1 and 10.

Losing a match when you are at Rank Level 1 with no Win Badge parts in Bronze Rank or higher will drop you to the previous Rank, so be sure to use your best cards and strategies to stay competitive in a Rank!

# Rank Advancement

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

When you complete Rank Level 10 in a Rank you will earn a title for the achievement and move to the next Rank at Rank Level 1 with one full Win Badge already completed.

You can also skip to the next Rank without completing all 10 Rank Levels if you have enough higher level cards. To advance to the next Rank in this way you must own at least 3 Immortals of the next level or higher, and at least 10 Equipment cards of the next level or higher. All required cards must be in the game and not on cooldown. You must also have at least one full Win Badge at Rank Level 1 or be at Rank Level 2 or higher, and must pay a VALOR cost equal to your current Rank \* 100.

<figure><img src="/files/5So8YZDOD8pDygNHkOIm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Example 1

You are at Novice Rank (Rank 1) and own 3 Level 2 Immortals and 10 Level 2 Equipment cards. You can advance to Bronze Rank (Rank 2) at a cost of 100 VALOR.

#### Example 2

You are at Gold Rank (Rank 4) and own 3 Level 5 Immortals and 10 Level 5 Equipment cards. You can advance to Platinum Rank (Rank 5) at a cost of 400 VALOR.

Ascending to the next Rank by completing Rank Level 10 does not require owning 3 higher level Immortals and 10 higher level Equipment cards (although it's probably a good idea to have them anyway!). Skipping to the next Rank using the "Advance To" option does not award you the title earned for completing all 10 Rank Levels.

When you are at Rank Level 1 of Bronze Rank or higher and have less than one full Win Badge, you can drop to the previous rank at no cost. Using this option will drop you to the previous Rank at the start of Rank Level 9.

# Match Rewards

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Once you have a [CREEDMARK![](/files/Z1vSbaOXun4vbAvWIuJw)](/gameplay/creedmark) badge you are eligible for rewards for ranked match wins each day. Your first 10 daily wins provide the full reward amount based on your owned cards used as described below. Your next 10 daily wins provide 0.1 [VALOR](/assets/currencies/valor) \* the match's [Rank](/gameplay/ranks) (e.g. 0.1 VALOR for a Novice win, 0.2 VALOR for a Bronze win, etc.). All wins past the first 20 will award 0.01 VALOR \* the match's Rank.

The base reward for one of your first 10 daily wins is 1 VALOR for every level of the Immortal used if owned, plus 1 VALOR for every level of every owned Equipment card used times the number of turn slots the card fills. Gold foil cards earn 50% more VALOR compared to the equivalent regular foil card.

**Example 1**

Winning a match using an owned Level 1 Immortal and 4 owned 1-Turn Level 1 cards (all standard foil) is calculated as:

5 cards \* 1 VALOR = 5 VALOR earned

**Example 2**

Winning a match using an owned Level 3 Immortal, 1 owned 2-Turn Level 3 card, and 3 owned 1-Turn Level 2 cards (all standard foil) is calculated as:

(1 Immortal card \* 3 Levels) + (1 2-Turn card \* 3 Levels) + (3 cards \* 2 Levels) = 15 VALOR earned

The below table shows the maximum amount of VALOR that can be earned at each rank per day, assuming no Gold foil cards are used.

**Maximum VALOR Earned Per Day by Rank (Standard Foil only)**

<table><thead><tr><th width="151" align="center">Rank</th><th width="141" align="center">Owned Cards</th><th width="167" align="center">VALOR per Battle</th><th align="center"># of Battles</th><th align="center">Total VALOR</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center">Novice</td><td align="center">5</td><td align="center">5</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">50</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Bronze</td><td align="center">6</td><td align="center">12</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">120</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Silver</td><td align="center">6</td><td align="center">18</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">180</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Gold</td><td align="center">7</td><td align="center">28</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">280</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Platinum</td><td align="center">7</td><td align="center">35</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">350</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Ebony</td><td align="center">8</td><td align="center">48</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">480</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Diamond</td><td align="center">8</td><td align="center">56</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">560</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Legionnaire</td><td align="center">9</td><td align="center">72</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">720</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Vindicator</td><td align="center">9</td><td align="center">81</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">810</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Infinity</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">100</td><td align="center">10</td><td align="center">1000</td></tr></tbody></table>

Your account must be validated to earn rewards. Your first Creedit purchase in the Shop grants you a [CREEDMARK![](/files/Z1vSbaOXun4vbAvWIuJw)](/gameplay/creedmark) badge stored in your game wallet allowing you to earn.

# CREEDMARK

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Your first [Creedit](/assets/currencies/creedits) purchase in the Shop grants you a CREEDMARK![](/files/Z1vSbaOXun4vbAvWIuJw) badge stored in your game wallet allowing you to earn [VALOR](/assets/currencies/valor) and [Season Reward Shares](/gameplay/season-rewards) for ranked match wins. Any Creedit amount qualifies for the CREEDMARK, and you can still also spend the Creedits you buy on card packs in the Shop!

<figure><img src="/files/IfZHmjHxHltquwvznaqL" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can play ranked matches without owning a CREEDMARK but you will not receive any VALOR rewards for match wins and will not accumulate [Daily Wins](/gameplay/match-rewards) or [Season Reward Shares](/gameplay/season-rewards).

# Season Rewards

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

A new Immortal Creed game Season starts every 14 days. At the end of the Season all players who have won at least one battle during the Season while owning a [CREEDMARK![](/files/Z1vSbaOXun4vbAvWIuJw)](/gameplay/creedmark) will receive a portion of the Season's rewards.

The current Season's Reward Pool starts at a base value based on the prior Season's active player and matches won counts, with a minimum base starting value of 100 VALOR. During the season 5% of VALOR spent in the Shop will be immediately added to the current Season's Reward Pool, and 10% of Creedits spent in the Shop will be immediately converted to VALOR and added to the Pool. If a player created their game account using a referral link, 5% of Creedits spent in the Shop will be converted to VALOR and sent to the referring account, and 5% will be added to the Season Reward Pool as VALOR instead of 10%.

The percentage of the Reward Pool awarded to a player is determined by the number of Season Reward Shares owned.

### **Reward Shares**

For each ranked match won (up to 10 wins per day) a player will accumulate Reward Shares based on the Rank of the match played. A Novice Rank match win earns 1 Reward Share, a Bronze Rank match win earns 2 Reward Shares, a Silver win earns 3 Reward Shares and so on. This allows a player to earn up to 1400 Reward Shares for a Season at the highest Rank.

After all players' Reward Shares have been tallied, the total amount in the Season Reward Pool will be divided by the total number of Reward Shares owned by all players. Each player's Reward Shares are then multiplied by the single Reward Share value and the amount is added to the player's game wallet.

**Example**

A Player wins 10 Silver ranked matches each day throughout the season (14 days). The player's Reward Shares are equal to 140 \* 3 = 420 Reward Shares.

All players have a combined total Reward Share count of 140,000. The Season Reward Pool contains 35,000 VALOR. Each Reward Share is valued at 35,000 VALOR / 140,000 Total Reward Shares = 0.25 VALOR.

Therefore the player receives 420 Reward Shares \* 0.25 VALOR for a total of 105 VALOR.

### **Card and Card Pack Rewards**

Players may also receive cards and card packs as Season Rewards.

For each Reward Share earned the player will have a 1% chance to receive either a card pack or a card as a reward, with a 0.9% chance of receiving a single card and a 0.1% chance of receiving a card pack.

A card reward reduces the player's VALOR earned for the Season by 20 (a player must have at least 30 VALOR from Season Rewards to receive a card reward). A card pack reward reduces the player's VALOR earned for the Season by 100 (a player must have at least 110 VALOR from Season Rewards to receive a card pack reward).

A Season Reward card's rarity and gold foil chances are the same as if the card was included in a card pack.

# Wallets

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

All players have an in-game wallet used to store and manage cards, currencies and other game assets owned.

You can also attach HIVE and EVM based Polygon blockchain wallets to your account, allowing you to transfer card packs and game currencies to and from the HIVE and POLYGON blockchains, and unique card NFTs to and from the HIVE blockchain, with similar card NFT functionality coming for POLYGON.

<figure><img src="/files/s8ZeScgwHuMmnwRNaNgC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Card Packs

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Card packs contain a set of 5 random Immortal and Equipment cards. Every card pack will contain at least one Rare card and will never contain two of the same card.

While available, card packs can be purchased for 200 [Creedits](/assets/currencies/creedits), equivalent to $2.00 USD (there is a 1,000 Creedit minimum purchase). You will receive bonus packs when buying in larger quantities with these bonuses:

* 5% bonus for 25-99 packs in a single purchase
* 7% bonus for 100-249 packs in a single purchase
* 10% bonus for 250 packs or more in a single purchase

<figure><img src="/files/YuVq4A9fU0FFLC6XdR8C" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each card pack edition will have a primary sale with a set number of packs available. When all packs have been purchased from the Shop, you will have to trade with another player or buy from a market to obtain packs until the next pack sale.

200,000 Origins card packs have been made available for purchase with Creedits. An additional 200,000 Origins packs have been made available for purchase with VALOR, along with another 100,000 card packs created for use in season rewards and other promotional purposes. No additional first edition card packs will be created, setting the total pack count for this edition at 500,000.

# Pack Pricing

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

The Origins card pack price in VALOR in the game shop is determined using a target price derived from the [volume-weighted average trading price](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volume-weighted_average_price) of ORIGINS and VALOR tokens over the prior 28 days. Once per day at 1:00 UTC during the daily reset, the target pack price is calculated and used to determine the next day's pack price in VALOR, 24 hours in advance. This pack price in VALOR is set to the halfway point between the current pack price and the calculated target price.

### Pack Price Calculation

The volume weighted average price for ORIGINS tokens (along with the volume weighted average price for VALOR at 1/200 ORIGINS) is calculated and used to determine the target Origins pack price. The further these tokens trade below $2 USD for ORIGINS and $0.01 USD for VALOR, the higher the price for purchasing packs in the Shop for VALOR will be.

The target price calculation is **p = (2 / vwap) \* 200**, where *vwap* is the volume weighted average price of ORIGINS tokens (including the volume weighted average price of VALOR tokens at 1/200 ORIGINS) over the prior 28 days, and *p* is the target pack price. Any ORIGINS or VALOR trades identified as spoofing or other attempts at market manipulation will be disqualified from this calculation.

#### Example 1

With an average ORIGINS trading price of $1 USD, the target pack price is **(2 / 1) \* 200** **= 400 VALOR**.

#### Example 2

With an average ORIGINS trading price of $0.1 USD, the target pack price is **(2 / 0.1) \* 200** **= 4000 VALOR**.

During the daily reset at 1:00 UTC, the actual pack price in VALOR is set halfway between the current price and the target price, 24 hours in advance. So you will always know the following day's pack price in addition to the current price, and market activity will not affect the pack price for at least 24 hours.

#### Example

The target pack price is calculated to be **4000 VALOR**, and the current pack price is **3000 VALOR**. The next day's price will be **3500 VALOR** ((4000+3000) / 2). The following day the target pack price is calculated to be **3800 VALOR**, making the next day's price **3650 VALOR** ((3500+3800) / 2).

The latest target price and price history can be viewed from the VALOR pack purchase screen in the Shop.

# Currencies

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

# VALOR

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

VALOR is the main currency token in the Immortal Creed game economy. VALOR is earned by winning ranked matches and can be used to buy card packs in the Shop.

### Supply

VALOR maximum supply: **3,000,000,000** *(1,500,000,000 POLYGON / 1,500,000,000 HIVE)*

VALOR initial supply: **1,000,000,000** *(500,000,000 POLYGON / 500,000,000 HIVE)*

Initially 500,000,000 VALOR will be minted on the POLYGON blockchain and 500,000,000 VALOR will be minted on the HIVE blockchain owned by game managed wallets. This VALOR backs an in-game system managed pool providing player rewards and liquidity between VALOR stored in-game and VALOR stored on a blockchain.

The additional 2,000,000,000 VALOR will be minted and released incrementally as needed for the expansion of the game economy. This reserve supply allows for future growth and token availability on exchanges through game provided liquidity.

<figure><img src="/files/Dt4v0CuweNMS3pLmQOBN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

There will be no initial coin offering (ICO) or pre-release of VALOR tokens. Players can only acquire VALOR by playing the game or by obtaining VALOR from other players directly or through a market or exchange.

### **Utility of** VALOR

VALOR can be spent on card packs in the Shop. 200,000 card packs have been made available for purchase with VALOR (see [Pack Pricing](/assets/pack-pricing)). Other uses for VALOR are planned as future additions to the game, including as payment for purchasing cards directly through an in-game market.

VALOR can be transferred to a blockchain wallet and traded, but must be transferred back to your in-game wallet before it can be used as payment for card packs in the Shop.

5% of all VALOR spent in the Shop is immediately added to the current Season's Reward Pool.

# Creedits

Creedits can be purchased using PayPal or with cryptocurrency like BTC, ETH, POL, USDC, SWAP.HBD, and many others! Creedits are priced in USD, with a minimum 1,000 Creedit ($10 USD) purchase.

Your first Creedit purchase in the Shop grants you a [CREEDMARK![](/files/Z1vSbaOXun4vbAvWIuJw)](/gameplay/creedmark) badge stored in your game wallet allowing you to earn [VALOR](/assets/currencies/valor) and [Season Reward Shares](/gameplay/season-rewards) for ranked match wins. Any Creedit amount qualifies for the CREEDMARK, and you can still also spend the Creedits you buy on card packs in the Shop!

10% of all Creedits spent in the shop will be immediately converted to VALOR and added to the current Season Reward Pool.

CREED is needed to combine Immortal cards to create more powerful Immortals. When used to combine cards, the spent CREED is destroyed.

**CREED Produced by Card Level and Rarity (Regular Foil)**

| Card Level | Rare | Epic |
| :--------: | :--: | :--: |
| 1 | 2 | 3 |
| 2 | 4 | 6 |

# NFTs

Immortal Creed was shut down on October 26, 2025. This documentation is for archival purposes only.

Immortal and Equipment cards can be transferred to a blockchain wallet as an NFT (Non Fungible Token). Immortal Creed NFTs representing card ownership can be minted and stored on the HIVE blockchain, with Polygon NFT blockchain interaction coming to the game in the future. Transferring the NFT through an Immortal Creed blockchain contract to another wallet transfers ownership of the card to the account associated with the receiving wallet.

Use the <img src="/files/G7kACqTqZHdFXNnjEXj2" alt="" data-size="line"> action when viewing card details to transfer a card to the Hive blockchain as a Hive Engine NFT or to move an existing NFT to your game inventory. A card NFT on Hive must be transferred to your inventory to make the card available for use in battle.

Immortal Creed Hive Engine NFTs can be bought and sold for VALOR or SWAP.HIVE at [Hive NFTs](https://hivenfts.com/).

NFT market transactions have a 5% fee, which will be added to the season reward pool in the game and distributed to players who have reward shares at the end of the season. VALOR market transaction fees will be added to the pool 1:1. SWAP.HIVE market transaction fees will have a comparable VALOR amount added to the pool.
