The world of Alara is ravaged by generations of war and strife. Its leaders converge under truce and treaty to save their dying world and kinds. After a lifetime of devotion to traditions and combat only the most skilled warriors achieve enlightenment through the Essence, which grants them immortality. With immortality comes the honor to enter the arenas and claim righteousness, judgment and glory.
