# Selecting an Immortal

After entering a match you are shown the match location and must choose which Immortal to send in for battle. If you do not choose an Immortal within 45 seconds of the start of the match you will forfeit the match.

Both players must choose which Immortal to use before either player can proceed to Equipment selection. After both players select an Immortal, you will select a set of Equipment cards to use for the match.
