# Magic Reflection

Some rare shields have the ability to reflect incoming Magic damage back to your opponent.

If a shield's defense amount includes the <img src="/files/7BaUZ43uMJSqaiQl0aBg" alt="" data-size="line"> symbol, the shield will reflect the full defense value of Magic damage from an attack. For incoming Melee and Ranged attacks that trigger a shield with Magic Reflection, the damage blocked is the same as a standard shield.

*Niobium enhanced shields have been known to reflect magic away from defenders.*
